Jason Shen

Jason Shen joined Rose Optometry in 2022 directly from the University of Auckland, where he graduated BOptom (Hons) as the top student in his cohort. Since then he has built a following for careful, unhurried eye care, and has developed a particular strength in keratoconus — fitting the specialty lenses that give people with keratoconus clear vision again.

Jason is therapeutically qualified, examines children from six weeks of age and adults, and is part of the team that monitors children for short-sightedness.

Special interests: keratoconus and specialty contact lenses, children's vision, general optometry.
